colloquium

Have you ever been involved in a conversation so painful you were scraping for excuses to leave? Or found yourself so involved in a discussion you lost track of time? Every day we use our body, voice, and technology to communicate with family, friends, and colleagues. Seventeen senior Graphic Design students would like to invite you to explore these relationships through the use of sight and sound in the exhibit: Colloquium.

ABOUT

Every day we use our body, voice, and technology to communicate with family, friends, and colleagues, whether consciously or not. Seventeen senior Graphic Design students from the Myers School of Art at The University of Akron will be displaying a culmination of works designed around a central theme of "conversation". The goal of the show is to explore communication that takes place between people by making use of a variety of different media including but not limited to computer animation, flat work, sculpture, and verbal interaction. These relationships will be defined and explored in the exhibit: Colloquium.
